New look for Harrogate/ Knaresborough buses 1st February 10
There'll be a striking new look to some of Harrogate's buses shortly with a dramatic new livery, new seats and a brighter look inside too.

It is part of an extensive refurbishment programme for the Route 1 buses used on the Harrogate to Knaresborough service.

Our Marketing Director, Nigel Eggleton explained, "It is important our buses look smart and distinctive, especially in an area like ours. Passengers will really notice the difference, both inside and outside the buses. The most striking feature is the distinctive new livery. Our designers have come up with a bold contemporary look for the buses but at the same time it preserves the traditional red and cream colours used by Harrogate & District and the West Yorkshire Road Car Company before that."

Diversion to route 24  4th January 10
We've been advised at short notice that buses on route 24 won't be able to serve Birstwith from Monday 18 January, for up to six weeks, due to emergency gas repairs.
